Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. After 13 years of age, old, he moved with his family to Casper within the Western part of Wyoming, where his father directed the local soil conservation district to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
